Southwestern Trojan Youth Football & Cheer provides safe, inclusive, and fun athletic opportunities for kids ages 6–11. Through football and cheer, we teach teamwork, discipline, leadership, and respect—on and off the field.

Pro Football

For ages 10-11 as of August 1st, 2025.
Full 11-player tackle football for more advanced players. Emphasizes development, leadership, and game strategy in a safe, supportive setting.

Rookie Football

For ages 8-9 as of August 1st, 2025.
Modified 8-player tackle football designed to build skills and confidence. Coaches focus on safety, teamwork, and learning the game of tackle football.

Flag Football

For ages 6-7 as of August 1st, 2025.
Fun, fast-paced introduction to football. Kids learn fundamentals like passing, catching, and teamwork in a no-contact environment.

Exciting and inclusive cheer squads supporting each level. Participants build confidence and spirit while learning age-appropriate routines and stunts.

What parents should know

  • All coaches are certified through NAYS and USA Football.

  • AEDs and certified medical staff are present at all games.

  • Safety is our top priority — from equipment checks to minimum play rules.

  • Every child plays. Rookie and Pro players get guaranteed playing time.

  • Cheer squads perform at games and can participate in competitions.

Registration & Eligibility

  • Registration opens TBD.

  • Age is determined as of August 1st.

  • Players must live within the Southwestern School District (exceptions possible with league approval).

  • Required documents: birth certificate, signed waiver.
